The revenues of the Azerbaijani mobile operators totaled over 1.2 billion manat ($705.8 million) from January through July 2020, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, the mobile operators’ revenues increased by 3 percent in the first seven months of 2020, compared to the same period of 2020.
At the same time, 72 percent of the total volume of provided information and telecommunication services accounted for the population, while 80.3 of all mobile operators’ revenues fell on private enterprises.
As reported, 42 percent or 517.3 million manat ($304.3 million) of revenues from services was generated in the field of mobile telephony.
In 2019, information and communication services worth over 2 billion manat ($1.1 billion) were provided to the population and organizations in Azerbaijan, which is 15.9 percent more compared to 2018.
