Azerbaijan will participate in a next meeting of the Organization for Regional Cooperation in Communications (ORCC) to be held in Tashkent on 5-10 September 2005, Novruz Mammadov, the head of the Post Department of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the 20th meeting of the post commissions of the ORCC member-countries and the 10th meeting of the Council of Post Operators of the РћР РЎРЎ.will be held under the event.
Mammadov said that the Azerbaijani delegation intends to hold a presentation for the participants in the meeting to demonstrate the last achievements in the post communications, in particular, on 3-year project of the World Bank directed at the development of post services in the country.
Besides, it is also planned to hold an international seminar dedicated to the application of new information technologies with participation of the representatives of CIS post administrations.
