Since 2006 the “Kura” Ltd company will launch producing of decoders of the color TV in Mingechavir. For the moment all works on preparations to the production have been completed, the Teleradio Producing Unit (PU) told Trend. Testing works for the decoders manufacturing start have been carried out.
В"In accordance with the directive of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies (MCIT) the price for one decoder will fluctuate at the level of $50-60, which is for $30-40 less as compared to the foreign producers”, PU underlined.
The enterprise is in the contact with the Foxjonn and HP companies for supply of the spare parts for computers production.
Apart from this, the enterprise will provide the schools of Sumgayit and Baku with 4,000 computers till the year-end. By the moment, 85 computers have been supplied to some Baku schools.
The factory operates as Joint Venture. 51% of the enterprise’s share is owned y the state- MCIT, 36% - by the local SINAM and 13% - by private persons.
