The investments of Azercell Telecom JV for 2006 are expected to become more than $142 mln, the head of the company Halim Atesh told on August 10, Trend reports.
According to Atesh, over the first half year, the company has already spent about $91 mln. out of the above-mentioned figure. The remaining finance will be invested by the company until the end of year. These finances will mainly be directed towards applying new services for the subscribers, as well as various social-directed projects and sponsor activity.
Since beginning its activity, JV has invested more than $495 into the sphere of communications.
Touching on the taxes paid over the first half year, the head of the company told that this indicator appeared more than $41 mln. Within all activity history of Azercell, this figure reached about $271 mln.
