Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Craig Mundie, the Senior Vice- president and Technology Director of Microsoft Corporation, stated in an interview with the Rabita Dunyasi newspaper that it is too early to speak on future developments of the IT market in Azerbaijan in its current stage. The Government's decision in this direction can be assessed positively.

"We can say that protection of authors' rights is very weak, the number of computers is not large, and the majority of computer use rests with international organizations and companies, Mundie noted.

The Vice-President considers that Azerbaijan is a country with rich natural resources and a small population, and in such countries we can reach a high level of development

"The development of the country demonstrates that its natural and human resources will be balanced. We assess it very high," the representative of Microsoft said. Investment plays an important part in this process.
