Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / 20 June 2007, Almaty - Chief Executive Officer of GSM Kazakhstan Serdar Canogullari was appointed to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FINTUR Holdings B.V.
Prior to his new appointment Serdar Canogullari worked as a general manager in several companies under FINTUR Holdings: AzerCell Telecom ( Azerbaijan), MoldCell ( Moldova) and will continue his duties as CEO of GSM Kazakhstan (K'Cell).
Former General Director of Fintur Holdings B.V. Serkan Elden resigned in order to further continue his professional career in finance.
Head of FINTUR Holdings B.V. Mr. Tero Kivisaari noted the significant contribution Elden made, which translated into the successful realization of FINTUR's strategy over a period of many years during his work.
Canogullari graduated from the Faculty of Engineering Management of Istanbul Technical University and then received his Master's in Business Administration in Marketing at the International University in San Diego, USA. Before his joining FINTUR Holdings in 2000, Canogullari occupied the posts of top manager in several big companies of America, including Kobey Corporation and RAL Transit Services.
FINTUR Holdings is one of the main founders of the biggest cellular operator of Kazakhstan GSM Kazakhstan, as well as such cellular communications operators in Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and the Ukraine.
