The Ministry of Higher and Secondary-Specialized Education in Uzbekistan has announced a tender for an audit.
The auditors will be required to examine the financial status of the “Higher Education Modernization” project, which is being subsidized by the World Bank.
The winning company will have to express an opinion on the financial position of the project as of January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.
Only eligible audit companies and approved by the list from the World Bank are accepted to participate in the competition. The consultant will be selected according to the Least Cost Based Selection method.
For the first time, a project on higher education in Uzbekistan supported by the World Bank became known in 2016. Implementation is calculated until 2023. It was reported that $50 million was allocated for the project.
Tender applications are accepted till January 20, 2021.
