By Rufiz Hafizoglu – Trend:

A Turkish court has rejected the claim of the largest online hotel booking service, Booking.com, for returning to the Turkish market, media reported Oct. 30.

Booking.com in March 2017 appealed to the Turkish court with a claim to return to the country’s market.

In early 2017, the online booking service was blocked by the Istanbul court, following a claim submitted by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TURSAB).

Lawyers representing TURSAB argue that the online service violates the law on competition in the hotel market of the country.
