TEHRAN, Iran, Sept. 9
Trend:
Since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 20), more than 13,930 cars have been produced by the Mazandaran branch of Iran Khodro Company, which shows a 45 percent increase compared to the same period last year, Seyyed Omid Hosseini Nejad, IKCO Mazandaran CEO said.
Referring to the videos of Mazandaran IKCO parking, which have been published online, and allegedly show defective cars being hoarded, he dismissed the case, adding that some 140 cars are being daily manufactured at this site.
Hosseini Nejad rejected the rumors on hoarding cars at this production site, adding that there are 2,000 defective vehicles, which will be completed and delivered to customers.
“Last year, there were about 6,000 defective cars on the factory parking lots,” he said.
The company official also said that since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 20), more than 10,000 vehicles have been delivered to customers.
