Kazakh airlines launch new flight to Uzbekistan

Kazakh SCAT Airlines will start operating flights between Kazakhstan’s Aktau and Uzbekistan’s Urgench, Trend reports with reference to the Civil aviation Committee of the Ministry of industry and infrastructure development of Kazakhstan.

According to the committee, SCAT will start operating flights on Aktau – Urgench route starting from March 8, 2021, two times a week.

It is reported that the flights will be operated on B-737 aircraft on Mondays and Wednesdays.

The committee also said that the flights will be operated in strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements and accordance with the schedule published on the airline's website.

Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan would increase the number of flights between Tashkent and Nur-Sultan from one to two flights per week from February 15, 2021.

It is noted that Uzbekistan Airways operate flights on Tashkent - Nur-Sultan - Tashkent route on Tuesdays and Fridays. In addition, the Kazakh airline Air Astana operates flights in this direction.
