Some 2.3 million tons of cargo from the Netherlands were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through March 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.
At the same time, 5,499 tons of cargo from the Netherlands were transported by ships flying under the Turkish flag, 2.2 million tons - by ships flying under the flags of other countries.
During the reporting period, ships flying under the flag of the Netherlands transported 73,196 tons of cargo.
Some 17,986 tons of cargo from the Netherlands were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through March 2021.
Some 94.6 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish ports from January through March 2021.
Some 7.4 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying the Turkish flag while 87.2 million tons by ships flying under the flags of other countries.
Moreover, 18.4 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports during the reporting period.
Some 32.1 million tons of cargo were transshipped through the Turkish ports in March 2021.
“Some 2.9 million tons of cargo were transported by ships flying under the Turkish flag while 29.3 million tons flying under the flags of other countries in March 2021,” the ministry said.
According to the ministry, 5.9 million tons of cargo were transited through the Turkish ports in March 2021.
