Iran’s PMO discloses details of cargo transportation in Bandar Lengeh port

About 104,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Bandar Lengeh port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, this is an increase of 0.4 percent compared to the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021). So, 73,500 tons of cargo were loaded and 30,300 tons were unloaded in the port in the fourth month.

About 73,300 tons of cargo were exported and 6,100 tons were imported through the Bandar Lengeh port over the fourth month.

“Furthermore, 24,200 tons of cargo were unloaded in this port for transit. Also, 228 tons of cargo were loaded and 57 tons were unloaded for cabotage during the reporting month,” the statistics said.

So, 62,700 tons of essential products, 14,300 tons of construction and mining materials, 24,700 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Bandar Lengeh port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year.

Moreover, 1,240 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper and wood materials, 1 tons of small and assorted products, 534 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in the port within the mentioned month

As reported, about 12.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at Iranian ports in the fourth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.99 million tons were loaded and 5.5 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 20.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
