Some new Toyota models may appear in Azerbaijan in 2022, auto expert Eldaniz Jafarov told Trend on Sept. 2.
“We will see the new Land Cruiser 150 Prado in 2022,” Jafarov said.
"Moreover, it is planned to present a new model of Toyota Yaris mini-crossover in Europe in 2022,” the expert added. “I am sure that this model will appear on the Azerbaijani market too."
The demand for Toyota cars in Azerbaijan increased by more than 20 percent in 2021.
Among Toyota models, RAV4 is the most sold car in the segment of all-wheel-drive vehicles while Corolla is the most sold car in the segment of passenger cars. Among Toyota cars, sales volumes of the new Camry model began to grow in Azerbaijan.
More than ten dealerships operate in Azerbaijan, which officially sells Japanese cars, including Toyota.
