Volume of grain and processed products from Russia’s Voronezh region to Azerbaijan unveiled

Some 11,600 tons of grain and processed products have been supplied to Azerbaijan from Russia’s Voronezh region since early 2021, Trend reports citing the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance.

The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance’s Administration for the Voronezh, Belgorod and Lipetsk regions has controlled almost 340,000 tons of grain and its processed products in the Voronezh region for export since early 2021.

The main export volume accounted for wheat – 118,000 tons, sunflower meal – 111,000 tons, barley malt – 53,000 tons.

A big share of Voronezh grain and its processed products are exported to Latvia (105,100 tons of grain and 147,200 tons of processed products).

Some 7,080 tons of grain were sent to Poland, 3,500 tons of grain and 1,600 tons of processed products - to Belarus, 10,100 tons of grain and 6,600 tons of barley malt - to Kazakhstan, 11,600 tons of grain and processed products - to Azerbaijan.

More than 1.3 million tons of grain and its processed products have been monitored during transportation within Russia since early 2021.

Voronezh grain was mainly supplied to Belgorod, Tambov and Krasnodar regions.

Over 520,470 tons of grain were shipped to the seaports of Rostov and Krasnodar for further export.
