This week it has become known that ADY Express LLC, a subsidiary company of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, transported 23,378 tons of agricultural products in 500 freight cars via the North-South Transport Corridor from Iran to Russia during the January through February 2022 period, Trend reports.

It has also been reported that in 2021, ADY Express LLC transshipped 74,783 tons of agricultural products from Iran to Russia in 1,468 railroad cars. Cargoes were loaded into train cars at Iran's Astara cargo terminal and delivered to Russia through Azerbaijan. The overall volume of cargo transported by ADY Express LLC in the first two months of 2022 through Iran's Astara cargo terminal totaled 58,967 tons (in 1,369 freight cars).

Moreover, this week the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC terminated the transportation contracts in the direction of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

Also, it became known that Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) will perform daily flights to evacuate compatriots wishing to return to the homeland due to the situation in Ukraine.
