Kazakhstan looks for strengthening interaction with Japan in the spheres of education and science, Kazakh Ambassador to Tokyo Akylbek Kamaldinov said during his meeting with newly-appointed Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan Masaharu Nakagawa, Kazinform reported.

The Ambassador familiarized the Japanese side with the current state of the educational and scientific spheres of Kazakhstan. He emphasized that at present one of the urgent tasks for Kazakhstan is the integration into the international educational space.

The Kazakh diplomat told about the Bolashak program and the Nazarbayev University.
Mentioning the importance of strengthening relations between Kazakhstan and Japan in the sphere of education and science, Masaharu Nakagawa expressed readiness to make efforts to deepening interaction between the two countries.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed to strengthen interaction of the two countries in the sphere of joint research.
