The heads of the Customs Union (CU) member states support the intentions of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan to become observers in the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC), the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev sait at a briefing in Astana following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council on Wednesday.
By the autumn of this year, experts from these countries must have prepared the needed documents, and then we will be able to approve them, Nazarbayev said.
EurAsEC is an international economic organization formed for the purpose of the formation of common external customs borders of its member states for a common foreign policy, tariffs, prices and other components of the common market.
The following meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in Minsk in October of this year.
