Kazakhstan’s Deputy Energy Minister Zhanat Zhakhmetova spoke about the implemented and pending digitalization projects for the oil and gas and energy sectors during a briefing at the Central Communications Service, Trend reports referring to Kazinform.
“The state program provides for 5 directions. The ministry is working on 6 projects within the first ‘Digitalization of economy sectors’ direction," Zhakhmetova said during a briefing at the Center of Communication Services.
According to her, the projects of the Ministry of Energy include ‘Creation of electronic auction for granting the right to subsoil use’ and ‘Creation and implementation of information system for accounting for oil and gas condensate’.
Besides, four projects of various organizations of the oil and gas complex, for three of which the work has been completed, include:
- implementation of ‘Intellectual Field’ project (‘KazMunayGas NC’ JSC);
- implementation of ‘Digital Mine’ project (‘Kazatomprom NAC’ JSC);
- transition to an extended overhaul period at oil refineries of Kazakhstan (including automation of the maintenance system) (‘KazMunayGas NC’ JSC ").
Besides, work continues on the ‘Automation of control over modes of Unified Electric Power System of Kazakhstan’ project (KEGOC JSC), she added.
