A ceremony of signing a cooperation agreement between Kazakhstan’s QazExpoCongress National Company and Russia's Roscongress Foundation took place on September 3, during the VI Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Russian Vladivostok, Trend reports.
The event took place in the presence of the Kazakh Vice Prime Minister Roman Sklyar and the Adviser to the Russian President - Executive Secretary of the EEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov.
It was also attended by a member of the Board of Directors of QazExpoCongress, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebayev, and Chairman of the Board, Director of Roscongress Alexander Stuglev.
The agreement envisages the establishment of effective communication between the expert circles of Kazakhstan and Russia.
“I believe that this agreement will lay the foundations for long-term interaction with our Russian colleagues and consolidate the key parameters and principles on which further cooperation in key areas of economic development will be built,” Torebayev said.
“With our Kazakh colleagues, we plan to develop communication platforms of the international level, new long-term partnerships between representatives of business communities, as well as to conduct a dialogue on cooperation in the investment and financial sphere,” noted Stuglev.
