BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. The gross output value of agriculture in Kazakhstan increased by 1.8 percent in 1Q2022, Kazakh Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantirov said at a government meeting, Trend reports referring to the government.

“Growth in production in the industry was recorded in 14 regions. The largest growth was shown by Mangistau, North Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions,” Kuantirov named the regions with the highest growth in agricultural output.

A decrease in the indicator is observed in Kostanay, West Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions.

"The general situation in the regional context in terms of seven economic indicators is as follows. Positive growth for all indicators is observed in six regions - Akmola, Almaty, East Kazakhstan and Zhambyl regions, also in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Shymkent," the minister noted.

According to six indicators, growth is observed in six regions. These are Atyrau, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangystau and North Kazakhstan regions, he said.

According to five indicators, positive growth is observed in four regions - the city of Almaty, also in Aktobe, Pavlodar and Turkistan regions, Kuantirov noted.

Positive growth is observed in four indicators in the West Kazakhstan region, the minister added.
