BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 10. FlyAristan, a Kazakh low-cost flight operator, will open flights from Almaty to the Georgian city of Kutaisi starting on 4 June 2023, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.

The 4.5-hour long flights will take twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, on Airbus A320 planes.

The price of a one-way ticket from Almaty to Kutaisi is set at 40,217 Kazakh tenge (around $89).

“Kutaisi is a young promising transport hub, from where Kazakhstanis can easily fly to various European cities”, Rinat Abulkhanov, Flight planning director of FlyAristan, said.

FlyArystan is the first Kazakh low-cost airline with a fleet of 13 Airbus A320 aircraft. In 2022, the company received new aircraft from the Airbus factory for the first time. Earlier, the company said that it plans to expand the fleet to 19 aircraft, including new aircraft, by the end of 2023.
