Another plant to be constructed at Kazakhstan's Qyzyljar SEZ

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 8. The Qyzyljar special economic zone in the North Kazakhstan region has registered Atameken-Agro-Oils LLP as another participant, Trend reports via Kazakh media.

The company plans to implement a project for the construction of an oil extraction plant with a production capacity of 1,200 tons of processing per day.

More than 250 new jobs will be created at the plant. Pre-design and survey work is currently underway. The plant is scheduled to be put into operation in 2024.

Meanwhile, seven enterprises have already been registered in the Qyzyljar special economic zone since its creation. Two projects have been implemented so far.

This year, an oil extraction plant is scheduled to be launched in Petropavlovsk region, the capacity of which will allow processing 370,000 tons of oilseeds per year.

Also, in 2023, about 1 million hectares are planned to be sown with oilseeds in the region.
