BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 1. Kazakhstan's KTZ-Freight Transportation JSC is creating an interactive database on providing coal to regions, Trend reports.
According to the company, the mentioned database will compile and organize information regarding the technical specifications of access routes, unloading capacities, coal availability at power plant warehouses, as well as data on operational schedules and loading plans for coal mines. Additionally, railway officials are conducting safety audits of access routes where the unloading of coal cars is taking place.
Furthermore, as noted by the company, coal export procedures are carried out according to the schedule. From January through May 2023, a total of 44.3 million tons of coal have been transported through the KTZ network. Of this, 13.2 million tons were sent for export, while 31.2 million tons were loaded within the country.
Transportation of approximately 28.4 million tons of solid fuel has been ensured to power plant warehouses. Moreover, 2.7 million tons of coal have been delivered to meet the needs of the population. All issues raised by cargo senders are promptly resolved through established procedures.
