ASTANA, Kazakhstan, August 29. Kazakhstan's exports in 2024 are expected to reach $83.1 billion, with further anticipated increase by $94.8 billion in 2028, Alibek Kuantyrov, Minister of National Economy of the country, said, Trend reports.
At the same time, the country's imports are forecast to see growth from $60.7 billion in 2024 up to $65.6 billion in 2028, the minister said.
Moreover, according to Kuantyrov, based on macroeconomic indicators, budget parameters forecast for 2024-2026 has been made. Thus, the revenues of the state budget are projected to amount to 16.1 trillion tenge ($34.7 billion) in 2024, which is 11.9 percent of GDP, while in 2026 this figure is expected to stand at 18.4 trillion tenge ($39.7 billion), or 10.7 percent of GDP.
Furthermore, the minister noted that Kazakhstan's real GDP growth in 2024 is projected at 5.3 percent, followed by an increase to 6 percent in 2028.
Meanwhile, Kazakhstan's total trade turnover from January through June 2023 amounted to $67.2 billion, of which $37.9 billion accounted for exports, and $29.2 - for imports.
