Kazakh, Russian banks signed an action programme

(KAZINFORM) - Within the framework of the forum of near-border regions of Kazakhstan and Russia being held today in Uralsk with the participation of presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin, the authorities of Kazakhstan Development Bank JSC and Vnesheconombank have signed an Action Programme to back interregional collaboration, trade and economic ties of near-border and adjacent regions of the states.

The parties' aim is to efficaciously encourage economic and investment cooperation between various enterprises of near-border and neighboring regions of Kazakhstan and Russia within state-backed joint projects on the national or/and regional levels, press service of Kazakhstan Development Bank informs, reports Trend.

The program will be carried out taking into account proposals of ministries, departments, and subjects of near-border regions of both states which are interested in implementing joint projects of mutual interest.

The sides will also contribute to initiation and development of backbone productions in different economic sectors of adjacent regions, render experts' assistance in financial security and terms of realization of joint and trans-border investments projects.
