First Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan resigns
Omurbek Babanov the first Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan resigned, sources in the presidential apparatus informed the news agency 24.kg.
Babanov himself confirmed the information to the news agency 24.kg.
"I handed in my resignation deciding to concentrate my efforts on development of business. The decision has no political motives," he said.
However, it is generally known that Daniyar Usenov, the new head of government, has not get along with Omurbek Babanov at all times.
The ex-official outlined that "his return to the opposition was out of question."
