ADB to allocate $ 145M to Kyrgyzstan for reconstruction of the southern capital

Asian Development Bank will allocate $145 million to Kyrgyzstan for reconstruction of the southern capital, ADB Permanent Representative Lan Woo declared at the meeting with Mayor of Osh city Melisbek Myrzakmatov.
ADB to allocate $ 145M to Kyrgyzstan for reconstruction of the southern capital

Asian Development Bank will allocate $145 million to Kyrgyzstan for reconstruction of the southern capital, ADB Permanent Representative Lan Woo declared at the meeting with Mayor of Osh city Melisbek Myrzakmatov, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Reportedly, 45 percent will be granted while the rest amount is a credit on easy terms.

Mr. Lan Woo believes that "granted assistance of Asian Development Bank must be spent on only social compensations, reconstruction and development of the southern capital."

Permanent Representative informed that in the near future special envoys of Asian Development Bank will arrive in Kyrgyzstan to deal with distribution of funds.

Mayor of Osh city told ADB delegation about current situation in the city.
