A road is blocked in Kyrgyz Sokuluk village

A road is blocked in Sokuluk village, Kyrgyzstan as eyewitnesses reported to 24.kg news agency.

They said around 50 locals are preventing the traffic. They are demanding to reinstate the chief of Sokuluk's local police precinct (ROVD) Ryskulbek Djaparov in his office.

The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chuy oblast (GUVD) confirmed this information. However, according to their information, not more than 20 people participated in the action. "And they don't block the road," they said in the press service of GUVD.

GUVD also specified that supporters of former chief of ROVD are participating in the rally but there are no officers of ROVD among them.
