Kyrgyzstan may allot Tegen coal mining to China to guarantee the implementation of the project on the construction of a fertilizer factory in Tash-Kumyr, KyrTAG report on Monday with reference to the Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Chingizbek Uzakbayev.
According to Uzakbayev, the construction of own factory of Kyrgyzstan is only solution of the fertilizer problem. China is ready to begin the construction of the factory in Tash-Kumyr, but they need a guarantee, and as Kyrgyzstan is not able to provide the state guarantee, they can allot Tegen coal mining to China.
As the Minister mentioned, because of the high cost of the fertilizer, at the moment farmers are not able to purchase it at all.
