Kyrgyzstan’s first international data center has been opened today in Bishkek.
The new facility was built by NSP, financed by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. The amount of financing at the first stage amounted to $ 330 thousand, Kabar reports.
There are 80 server racks in the data center, the area is 500 square meters. The total electrical power at the initial stage is 300 kW with the possibility of expanding to 500 kW - it is provided by an external power line from two independent inputs and a diesel generator.
During the construction of the center, the technologies and equipment of the French company Scheneider Electric were used.
The data center will operate round the clock.
