BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. The Foundation stone laying ceremony of the Kyrgyz-Kazakh trade and logistics center was held in Bishkek on May 26, Trend reports via the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.
The event was held with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev and Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Bakhyt Sultanov.
“We are laying the foundation and beginning a new chapter in bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries with great pride. The most important thing is ahead, together we will be able to complete this grand project,” Kozhoshev said.
The center will be located 31 km from Bishkek at the checkpoints "Ak-Tilek" in Kyrgyzstan and "Karasu" in Kazakhstan.
The construction of the center will allow Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan to enter the EAEU and other countries' markets, enhance commerce between the two countries, expand product exports, and increase nations' market share in global marketplaces, collaboration, and create new jobs.
