BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 16. The retail and wholesale trade significantly increased in Kyrgyzstan from January through October 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistics, the retail trade turnover in Kyrgyzstan from January through October 2022 increased by 19.4 percent over the same period in 2021 (250.2 billion soms, or $2.9 billion) - up to 298.9 billion soms ($3.5 billion).
The value of wholesale trade in 10 months of this year amounted to 261 billion soms ($3 billion), which is 25.1 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year (208.6 billion soms or $2.4 billion).
During the reporting period, the retail trade of motor fuel in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 87.2 billion soms ($1 billion).
Overall, the growth of wholesale and retail trade from January through October of this year was recorded in all regions of Kyrgyzstan.
