BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 3. Kyrgyzstan Trading House is to be built in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Trend reports.
According to the official source, this became known during the meeting of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, Musa Dzhamanbaev, with the mayor of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov.
During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas in the field of urban planning, paying special attention to cooperation between the metropolitan municipalities as well as with Kyrgyzstan's city of Osh through the exchange of experience in improving the well-being of cities.
In particular, they discussed the introduction of modern digital and information technologies (Smart City), the activation and participation of Kyrgyz businesses in investment projects and in industrial zones of Tashkent city, as well as the development of tourism.
Economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan plays an important role in strengthening mutual relations and stimulating the economic development of both countries. Both states are making efforts to expand trade and investment ties, create favorable conditions for entrepreneurship, and develop key sectors of the economy.
