BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, March 27. The revenues of Kyrgyzstan's republican budget amounted to 50.049 billion soms ($559.144 million) from January through February 2024, Trend reports.
According to the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan, non-tax revenues amounted to 5.295 billion soms ($59.155 million). From non-tax sources, interest on loans and credits issued by the Financial Credit Fund (FCF) totaled 327.7 million soms ($3.661 million) for the first two months of 2024, exceeding the approved plan of 135.6 million soms ($1.514 million) by 2.4 times.
Furthermore, revenue from vehicle registration and re-registration fees had a planned target of 249.4 million soms ($2.786 million) but achieved 384.5 million soms ($4.295 million), exceeding the plan by 54.2 percent.
According to the law of Kyrgyzstan on the republican budget, the revenues for the year 2024 are estimated at 378.405 billion soms (4.227 billion) and expenditures totaling 367.493 billion soms ($4.105 billion).
Meanwhile, the revenues of Kyrgyzstan's republican budget reached 357.7 billion soms ($3.996 billion) in 2023, surpassing the projected volume by 1.4 percent. Total expenditures amounted to 217.8 billion soms ($2.433 billion), a decrease of 48.8 percent compared to the planned volume.
