BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, April 13. Kyrgyzstan exported 26,300 passenger cars to Russia in March 2024, Trend reports.
Citing Autostat, the main analytic organization in the Russian
car industry, exports grew 11 times since March 2023.
In March 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported over 24,500 new passenger cars
and over 1,700 used passenger cars to Russia. In the first month of
spring, Kyrgyzstan sent 28.1 percent of new cars and 4.3 percent of
used cars to Russia.
As per Kyrgyzstan's State Statistical Committee, commerce with
Russia totaled $194.871 million in January 2024, up eight percent
from $180.484 million in January 2023. Russia accounted for 16.7
percent of the nation's overall trade.
Kyrgyzstan's exports to Russia totaled $30.679 million in January 2024, a drop of 21.9 percent from $39.263 million in January 2023. Imports from Russia rose to $164.192 million in January 2024, up 16.3 percent from $141.220 million in January 2023.
