BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, June 11. Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover reached $5.171 billion from January through April 2024, which is a 27.7 percent increase compared to the same period in 2023 ($4.051 billion), Trend reports.

According to data from Kyrgyzstan’s State Statistical Committee, exports totaled $760.6 million, up by 19.7 percent compared to $635.678 million in January-April 2023.

Import revenues grew by 29.2 percent compared to $3.415 billion in the same period in 2023, reaching $4.411 billion from January through April 2024.

Exports accounted for 14.7 percent of the total trade turnover, while imports constituted 85.3 percent.

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover totaled $15.660 billion in 2023, a 29.9 percent increase over 2022 ($12.057 billion). The country's exports amounted to $3.308 billion, up 46.8 percent year-on-year ($2.254 billion in 2022). Imports to Kyrgyzstan reached $12.352 billion, which is an increase of 26 percent from $9.803 billion in 2022.
