BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 7. Kyrgyzstan and South Korea have discussed the launch of new flight routes, Trend reports.
According to Manas International Airport, Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Manas, held an official meeting with Daniel Dongik Shin, Executive Director of South Korea's Incheon Airport, who was visiting Kyrgyzstan.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation between Manas and Incheon airports, focusing on increasing the number of flights between South Korea and Kyrgyzstan and opening new international routes.
In his statement, Dongik Shin described his visit to Kyrgyzstan as fruitful. He mentioned meeting with leading tour operators in the country and noted that South Korean citizens are interested in Kyrgyzstan's beautiful nature. Shin emphasized that joint cooperation would benefit both countries.
Incheon International Airport, located 70 kilometers from Seoul, is the largest aviation hub in South Korea and one of the world's busiest airports in terms of international passenger traffic and aircraft movements. According to the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2020, Incheon Airport was ranked fourth among the world's top 10 airports.
