BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, August 30. A new assembly plant for Shacman trucks and special-purpose vehicles has opened in the Kemin district of Kyrgyzstan's Chuy region, Trend reports.

According to Bishkek City Hall, the project, developed by the company Shumkar in partnership with China's Xian Yuanchao, aligns with the standards of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), the World Trade Organization (WTO), and other international agreements.

The factory, which began reconstruction in March and spans 7,400 square meters, aims to produce 1,200 vehicles annually to meet domestic needs and export to CIS countries. It has created 100 new jobs and is in discussions with partners in Russia, Belarus, and other international markets.

This development follows a bilateral agreement signed during President Sadyr Zhaparov's first state visit to China.
