BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 16. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov will make a working visit to Kazakhstan on September 17, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Kyrgyz Presidential Administration Muratbek Azymbakiev said, Trend reports.
"During the visit, the head of state will participate in the second meeting of Central Asian heads of state and the Federal Chancellor of Germany. The parties will discuss pressing regional issues, including expanding cooperation between the Central Asian region and Germany across all areas of mutual interest," Azymbakiev pointed out.
He added that Zhaparov will attend a meeting of Central Asian presidents with German entrepreneurs, hold a separate meeting with the German business community, and engage in bilateral negotiations with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
On September 17, Scholz will attend the second Central Asia-Germany (5+1) summit in Kazakhstan.
At the first 5+1 summit, held in Berlin last year, a strategic regional partnership program was signed.
