U.S. embassy in Tajikistan organizes language training

The International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Office of the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan, organized an English course for Interior Ministry officers and their children, Asia-Plus reported with reference to U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe.

The recently completed three-month course, focused on grammar, writing, reading, speaking, pronunciation, active listening, and vocabulary skills. Twenty-six students graduated from the course.

The U.S. Government is committed to supporting Tajikistan's law enforcement agencies and justice sector institutions and looks forward to continued close cooperation in future projects. Since 2003, the U.S. Embassy's International Narcotics and Law Enforcement program has provided a total of more than $52 million to support security and justice for the people of Tajikistan.
