DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 25. Oil refineries in Tajikistan produced 675 tons of gasoline from January through June 2023, Trend reports.
Data from the Agency on Statistics of Tajikistan also shows that in the first six months of this year, the country produced 676 tons of diesel fuel, 1,700 tons of masut, and 1,600 tons of bitumen.
Comparing the statistical data from the Statistical Agency, it becomes clear that Tajikistan produced more gasoline in the first half of the year than in the entire previous year (510 tons of gasoline).
However, only 676 tons of diesel fuel were produced in the six months, whereas 4,000 tons were produced during the entire year of 2022.
As per the statistics, the country also produced 5,100 tons of masut and 3,200 tons of bitumen in 2022.
According to the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources of the country, oil extraction in Tajikistan amounted to 9,100 tons in the first half of this year, which is nearly 3,400 tons less than the same period in 2022.
