DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, July 25. The Tajik passport has climbed in the Henley & Partners report, now ranked 82nd as of mid-2024, up from 84th place in 2023, Trend reports.

Currently, Tajik citizens can visit 58 countries without needing a visa.

Singapore remains at the top of the ranking, with its passport allowing access to 195 countries either visa-free or with a visa on arrival.

France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Spain are tied for second place, offering visa-free entry to 192 countries. Austria, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, South Korea, and Sweden share third place, with access to 191 destinations.

At the bottom are Iraq (31 visa-free destinations), Syria (28), and Afghanistan (26).

The Henley Passport Index is the original and most authoritative ranking of all the world's passports by the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. The index includes 199 passports and 227 travel destinations, providing users with the most extensive and reliable information on their global access and mobility.
