DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, September 28. The Association of Banks of Russia and the Association of Banks of Tajikistan have signed a memorandum of understanding, Trend reports via Russia's Association of Banks.
The document was signed by the President of the Association of Banks of Russia Anatoly Kozlachkov and Chairman of the Board of the Association of Banks of Tajikistan Junaidullo Sharafov at the XXI International Banking Forum in Sochi.
The memorandum envisages the exchange of experience in the field of professional training, provision of banking services, development of new technologies, promotion of the use and exchange of national currencies, support in the development of best practices and ethical standards in banking, and holding joint events on the problems of banking activities.
“The memorandum with the Association of Banks of Tajikistan captures the long years of fruitful cooperation established between our associations within the framework of the International Banking Council, which the Association of Banks of Tajikistan joined in 2008,” Kozlachkov noted.
According to him, this document will allow the parties to expand bilateral dialog, promptly exchange professional experience, and hold events of mutual interest.
