The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $44 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from Switzerland, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel, polypropylene, heating oil, baseline oil produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and businessmen from Hong Kong - vacuum gas oil produced at the Seydi oil refinery (SOR).

Representatives of business communities from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced at the enterprise of the State Corporation "Turkmengaz".

Businessmen from Russia and Turkey purchased cotton yarn.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the enterprise of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya", also polypropylene, baseline oil, petroleum bitumen, crude paraffin wax produced at the Turkmen Oil Refinery and handmade carpets for a total amount of about 117 million Turkmenistani manat ($33.4 million).

A total of 137 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
