BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to about $62.2 million last week, Trend reports via “Business Turkmenistan” news agency.

Entrepreneurs from UAE, China, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased base oil, low sulfur heating oil, petroleum coke, polypropylene, technical kerosene produced by the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TCOR) and representatives of business communities from Turkey, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan - diesel fuel produced at the Seydi oil refinery (SOR).

Businessmen from the UK and Kyrgyzstan purchased smooth-dyed and jacquard terry products, as well as licorice root on the stock exchange.

Entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan for the local market purchased high-density polyethylene produced at the enterprise of the State Concern "Turkmenhimiya", also polypropylene, produced at the Turkmen Oil Refinery and handmade carpets for a total amount of about 15.6 million Turkmenistani manat ($4.4 million).

A total of 52 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
