BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 3. Turkmenistan and the OECD are aimed at improving the legal environment for business, investment and export promotion, Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) told Trend.

"The OECD is planning to hold a series of seminars to discuss investment and export promotion policies and also start the monitoring phase of the ongoing EU-funded project on Improving the Legal Environment for Business in Central Asia. This includes, in particular, a seminar that is needed to start updating the recommendations formulated two years ago", - the organization said.

The organization says that in recent years Turkmenistan has been increasingly cooperating with the OECD, paying special attention to competitiveness and private sector development. In the future, joint work is planned aimed at improving the legal environment for business and trade promotion.

Furthermore, they believe that Turkmenistan can be included in future work on the implementation of projects for the development of trade and transport links.
