BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 6. The Turkmenabat Sewing Factory of Turkmenistan from January through July 2022 manufactured products worth 28.8 million Turkmen manat ($8.2 million), Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
The sewing factory exceeded the production plan by 14 percent (according to the plan - 25.2 million Turkmen manats, or $7.1 million).
The main part of the factory's products is uniforms for the military, as well as clothing for children and adults.
Turkmenistan plans to allocate more than $300 million for the implementation of over 30 projects in the textile industry by 2025.
In general, over the years of independence, about $2 billion were invested in the construction of new and reconstruction of existing textile enterprises.
