BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. The volume of cultivated areas for potatoes in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has been published, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Peasant associations and farms in the region have sown 900 hectares of land with autumn varieties of potatoes this year, from which they plan to harvest 12,600 tons of crop.
A significant part of the land was sown in the Charjew district of the Lebap region. This year 250 hectares were sown in the district, from which it is planned to harvest 3,500 tons of potatoes.
At the moment, the care of the fields continues according to the norms of agricultural technology.
