BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 30. The area of land sown with winter wheat in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has been revealed, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
Since the beginning of the sowing season, 52,700 hectares of land have been sown with winter wheat in the region. Today, wheat sowing continues, which is carried out on an area of more than 2,000 hectares per day.
In general, 130,000 hectares of land are planned to be sown in the Lebap region this year, from which it is expected to harvest 310,000 tons of winter wheat.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of the machinery, work is underway to provide it with fuel and lubricants and spare parts.
