BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 11. The Halach factory of artistic carpet making located in the Lebap region in the east of Turkmenistan has published production indicators, Trend reports with reference to Jeyhun News.
According to the information, since the beginning of 2022, the enterprise has manufactured carpet products worth 15.06 million Turkmen manats ($4.3 million).
Currently, the factory weaves carpets of various sizes to order administrative and residential buildings, and the enterprise employs more than 2,300 specialists.
Turkmenhaly state association is the main supplier of renowned Turkmen handmade pure-wool fleecy carpets from Turkmenistan to the world market.
The main activities of the association are the manufacture and sale of Turkmen carpets, as well as the conservation of hand carpet-making tradition.
